The Rua in Piazza dei Signori was a wooden machine carried with arms, and used from 1441 on the occasion of the feast of Corpus Domini, it is a symbol of the city of Vicenza. In 1928 Rua completed his last tour. The work was bombed in 1944 by the Allies and never rebuilt. In 1949 a small specimen was reproduced and called the Rueta and in 2007, it was decided to reconstruct the original Rua.
