The Palazzo Civena Trissino was the first palace designed by the young Andrea Palladio. It was built in 1540, when the famous architect was only 32 years old, commissioned by the Civena family. Over time it has undergone several interventions, especially internally: in 1801 a wing was built in the courtyard while, between 1819 and 1820, two were added to the sides of the facade. The palace, damaged by bombing during the Second World War, is now partly used as a nursing home.
