
The Villa Valmarana ai Nani, one of the most famous Venetian villas, is famous throughout the world for the main building and guesthouse frescoed by Giambattista Tiepolo and his son Giandomenico in 1757. The villa consists of three buildings located in a large park. Italian era: the Palazzina of 1669, the Foresteria and the Scuderia of 1720. The building owes its name to the 17 statues of the stone dwarfs placed on the wall surrounding the property, once scattered around the garden of the latter. Nowadays, the villa, together with the Villa Capra, is owned by the Valmarana family.
