The Palace of the brothers Marcantonio and Adriano Thiene constitutes the only portion realized of a grandiose quadrilateral building that, according to the table published by Palladio in the Quattro Libri, should have extended to the entire block comprised between contrà Porti and contrà S. Gaetano, directly facing on the main city street axis (the current Corso Palladio).
