Palazzo Poiana is the result of an operation of renewal and unification in classical forms carried out on two distinct buildings owned by the noble Vincenzo Poiana, overlooking Corso Palladio and located to the left and right of Contrà Do Rode. On 22 January 1561 the Poiana required the concession to the Greater City Council to carry out some interventions on the newly acquired property, located in front of its own. The construction of the unitary front on the main course of the city was completed between 1563 and 1566.
